Content and Brand Marketer
Location: Franklin, TN (In-Person, Mon–Thu / WFH Fridays)
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Summary
Thnks is built on small gestures that make people feel seen. Our marketing has to feel the same way. Every line of copy, every post, every page is a chance to prove that gratitude isn't just good manners. It is good business.
This role is the voice, and it is entirely hands on. You are the one writing the words, not the one editing a contractor's draft of them. You write the positioning, the landing pages, the flagship report, the posts, and the emails. If you have been itching to own a brand voice and actually write it instead of managing an agency that does, this is that job. This is a founding content hire, so for now there is no team under you. Just you, the blank page, and the best AI tools we can put in your hands. We build the team around what you prove.
Your Role
As the Content and Brand Marketer, you will write the words that matter most and take complete ownership of our written voice.
What you will actually do:
- Write the words that matter most, including the positioning document, the homepage, the highest traffic landing pages, and the sales one-pagers. You write them, you do not just approve them.
- Own the category narrative so "gratitude in business" works because we say it better than anyone. You make it something people search for and credit to us.
- Do the search work yourself, covering keyword research, page briefs, on page fixes, and the rankings that follow for both classic search and newer answer engines.
- Run a steady publishing cadence that you write and schedule, including LinkedIn posts, podcast bookings, and AR pitches.
- Mine the customers for material by sitting in on customer calls, pulling quotes and stories, and turning them into case studies and proof.
- Read the numbers to see what ranks, converts, and gets shared so you can write the next piece smarter.
What you own:
- The written voice across everything we publish.
- Organic search rankings and the qualified signups that come from content.
- The flagship report and the press it earns.
- Publishing cadence and the engagement it drives.
What success looks like:
- By month 6: The company has one clear voice, and the top pages convert better than they did.
- By month 12: People search for the category and find us, content is a real acquisition channel with numbers behind it, and the annual report is something the industry waits for.
What We’re Looking For
- 6 or more years in B2B content and brand, writer first, with work you actually wrote rather than just managed.
- Heavy participation in a brand voice as a content engine, ideally at a company selling something people feel.
- Deep knowledge of modern search, including SEO plus newer answer engines, alongside tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Search Console.
- The ability to turn real data into an original report, including basic survey design and synthesis.
- Production capabilities to get a report designed, a podcast booked, and a campaign out the door.
- An AI native mindset where you use AI to ship what a team of four used to ship, while keeping the voice unmistakably ours. You let AI draft and research while you decide what is good, leaning on Claude for drafting, editing, and research, and Midjourney or the brand equivalent for creative.
Bonus Points
- You have built an annual research report or franchise.
- You have ghostwritten for executives or founders.
- You have grown organic search off real buyer questions, not volume chasing.
Who This Is Not For
- If you want to manage writers and approve their drafts, this is not it.
- If you want a fully remote job, this is not it.
- If you would rather hand the writing to an agency than do it yourself, this is not it
Our Commitment to You
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance (80-100% employer-covered).
- Future Planning: 401(k) matching.
- Stipends: Monthly cell phone and internet stipend.
- Work Environment: In-office Monday through Thursday with Friday remote.
- Work-Life Balance: 20 PTO days, company-paid holidays, and maternity leave.
- Wellbeing: Company-paid life and long-term disability insurance.
- Team Spirit: Regular team-building and community engagement events.
How to Apply
Send the work along with your resume. Two or three pieces you wrote that you are proud of, ideally with a line on what they did: ranked, converted, got shared, or opened a door. We read those first.

Partnerships and Community Manager
Location: Franklin, TN (In-Person, Mon–Thu / WFH Fridays)
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Summary
Gratitude in business is already a movement. Thousands of people already believe that appreciation is just good business. This role gives that belief a home. It is a megaphone for what we stand for.
It is entirely hands on. You are the one finding the creators, writing the briefs, running the community, and building the partner calendar, not the one managing someone who does it. If you love building a network from scratch and being in the conversations every day, this is that job. This is a founding hire, so for now there is no team under you. Just you and the relationships you build.
Your Role
As the Partnerships and Community Manager, you will serve as our network builder, expanding our reach across creators, communities, and corporate partners.
What you will actually do:
- Find and sign the creators yourself, focusing on real B2B sellers and revenue leaders. You source them, reach out, write briefs, edit drafts, and run the posting cadence with a light touch, high cadence, unpolished approach. No six figure influencer deals.
- Build and run the community day to day by posting, moderating, welcoming new members, and hosting conversations to give people a place to gather and learn.
- Build partner co-marketing with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP Concur, EcoCart, and Thnks Local, driving the joint calendar, joint content, webinars, and in app promotions.
- Celebrate practitioners by running the awards and spotlights that turn happy customers into public advocates.
- Show up at events to sponsor, attend as hunters, or host our own small dinners.
- Track what lands, bringing data on which creators drive signups, which posts travel, and which partners pull their weight. You bring the numbers, not just the vibes.
What you own:
- The creator network and the reach it generates.
- The community and its growth, engagement, and retention.
- The partner marketing calendar and the co-marketing that ships.
- Top of funnel reach and the qualified signups that come from it.
What you ship in your first 90 days:
- Sign the first three to five creators and get them posting.
- Stand up the partner marketing calendar with the top partners.
- Map the community that already exists around gratitude in business and pick the first place to plant a flag.
What success looks like:
- By month 6: A handful of credible creators are posting regularly, the community has a pulse, and the first partner campaigns are live.
- By month 12: The creator network drives real signups, the community lowers churn and lifts send frequency, and partners run co-marketing with us on a steady rhythm.
What We’re Looking For
- 4 or more years building creator, influencer, community, or partner marketing programs, ideally in B2B.
- Strong knowledge of the creator landscape and the seller's world, with the ability to tell a credible practitioner from a fake across LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcasts.
- Direct experience running co-marketing with partners, including joint calendars, shared campaigns, funds management, and reporting.
- High-cadence execution with the capacity to move fast and ship often.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills. You are the kind of person other people want to say yes to.
- An AI native approach to scaling workflows, using AI to run a network that would normally need a bigger team by leveraging tools to source creators, draft briefs, schedule, and track what lands. You work smoothly with Claude and carry a clear point of view on how to use these tools day to day.
Bonus Points
- You have run an awards or recognition program.
- You have launched co-marketing on Salesforce AppExchange or HubSpot Marketplace.
- You have grown a B2B community from the ground up.
Who This Is Not For
- If you want to manage a team and direct the work from above, this is not it.
- If you want a fully remote job, this is not it.
- If you would rather plan a community than be in it every day, this is not it.
Send proof along with your resume. A creator program, a community, or a partner campaign you built, with a line on what it produced. We read those first.

Growth Marketer
Location: Franklin, TN (In-Person, Mon–Thu / WFH Fridays)
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Summary
Thnks runs on gestures. Someone sends a coffee, a lunch, a small thing that says "I appreciate you," and a business relationship gets warmer. We grow when more people send, more often. Gratitude isn't just good manners here. It is the business model.
This role makes that growth happen and proves it in the numbers. It is entirely hands on. You are the person in the ad accounts, in the dashboards, and in the lifecycle flows, not the person reviewing someone else's slides about them. If you have spent years wishing you could just build the thing yourself instead of managing it through three layers, this is that job. This is a founding growth hire, so for now there is no team under you. Just you and the work. We build the team around what you prove.
Your Role
As the Growth Marketer, you will act as our growth engine, driving demand and taking clear ownership of our conversion metrics and channels.
What you will actually do:
- Run the paid accounts yourself, including LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and retargeting. You build the campaigns, write the first round of copy, set the budgets, and cut what isn't paying back.
- Own the recipient to sender loop, instrumenting the redemption page and gesture emails, baselining the conversion rate, and moving it every sprint.
- Build the lifecycle yourself by writing onboarding sequences, triggered education, and win back flows directly in HubSpot.
- Do the SEO and organic work yourself through keyword research, page briefs, and on page fixes. You partner with the content lead on writing, but the organic acquisition number is yours.
- Set up tracking, pull the data, write queries, build dashboards, and bring the six numbers to the Monday standup. Nothing launches without tracking in place first.
- Run real experiments where you design the test, ship it, call it, write down what you learned, and kill what loses.
What you own:
- Acquisition: Top of funnel signup to first send.
- CAC and payback by channel.
- Organic traffic and the qualified signups that come from it.
What success looks like:
- By month 6: Paid is efficient and honest, the growth loop is instrumented and trending up, and nobody argues about the numbers because the dashboard settles it.
- By month 12: Acquisition costs less than it did when you started, more recipients are becoming senders, and the channels that work are funded while the ones that don't are gone.
What We’re Looking For
- 7 or more years doing growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing yourself, ideally at a consumption, product led, or marketplace business. Not seven years managing people who did it.
- Real hands-on with paid platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Google), a lifecycle or CRM stack (HubSpot or similar), and product and web analytics (GA4, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
- Proven organic acquisition and SEO growth using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Search Console.
- A strict discipline to set up tracking before you launch and retire what isn't paying back.
- An AI native mindset where AI is a daily multiplier, using it to run more tests, build models faster, and write sharper briefs and emails at the same headcount. You naturally lean on Claude for analysis and drafting and Clay for enrichment and signal driven outreach.
Bonus Points
- You have run a PQL motion.
- You have worked a self serve to enterprise motion.
- You have used 6sense or a similar intent data source in a live routing motion.
Who This Is Not For
- If you want to manage a team and set strategy from a deck, this is not it.
- If you want a fully remote job, this is not it.
- If the last time you were in an ad account or a query editor was three years ago, this is not it.

- Wellbeing: Company-paid life and long-term disability insurance.
- Team Spirit: Regular team-building and community engagement events.
